How do I convert a Fingerprint card into an EFT?

Once you have an inked FD-258 card, you will first need to scan it into a PNG, PDF, or TIFF image at 500 DPI or higher resolution.

Then, you can head over to EFTCreator.com to create an account and purchase Card Conversion Credits.

-- Credits are pre-purchased at $30.00/each from the Products page in your account

After you purchase credits, go back to the Dashboard and click on the ATF Card Conversion button. From there:
  • Enter the descriptive information in the Demographics tab
  • Upload the 500 DPI or higher scanned image in the Documents tab
  • Click the Submit Conversion button
Upon submission, we will perform the conversion, and you will get a notification via email when it is complete.  You will then need to log back into your EFTCreator account to download the converted EFT file from the Transactions page.

Note: The Submit Conversion button will not click until all the red-highlighted boxes in the demographics tab are filled out and you have uploaded the scanned fingerprint card, if you have done this and the button is still inaccessible try reloading your browser and doing it again (you will not be charged a credit until you hit submit conversion). If the issue persists please reach out to our support team for further assistance.
